Guest Ministers – For the next few Sundays we will have the opportunity to receive our Sunday message from guest ministers. We welcome them to First United and thank them for helping us during this transition time to our new minister. We thought you would like to know who will be joining us:
- June 4 - 4 Waterloo Churches @ Emmanual
- Rev. Marilyn Burnard – June 11
- Rev. Andrew Hyder – June 18
- Rev. Eva Mezo – June 25
Our new minister Rev. Hoeun Lee will join us in July but will be taking the first three Sundays as vacation as the family moves from Saskatchewan and settles in this new community. It is a very common practice for ministers to take vacation at the start of a new call, particularly when they are moving a distance to their new church home.
So our guest ministers for those three weeks will be:

- Rev. Sherry Coman – July 16
4 Churches
Some dates have been set for the congregations of the four United Churches in Waterloo to meet together for worship.
On Sunday, June 4th the four Waterloo United Churches will be holding a joint service to honour Indigenous Sunday at 10:00 am at Emmanuel United Church, Waterloo. The speaker will be Rev. Cheryl-Ann Stadelbauer-Sampa, Executive Minister for Western Ontario Waterways Regional Council.
In August our joint services will be:
- August 6th - Westminster
- August 13th - First
- August 20th - Parkminster
- August 27th - Emmanuel
