"French Braid" tells the story of the Garrett family, beginning in the 1950's and ending in 2020.
Mercy and Robin Garrett are raising their three children, daughters Alice and Lily and much younger son David, in Baltimore. As the children grow and mature, members of the family influence each other through the generations.
