Arts Funding Applications

Have you heard? MT Space has been selected by the Region of Waterloo as an administrative partner for their Arts Funding program. For a period of three years, MTSpace will be responsible for collecting, reviewing and administrating grants art funds for the Region. We congratulate MTSpace on being selected for this ongoing responsibility.

MTSpace is inviting applications from individual artists and arts organizations of all art forms and disciplines that are based in Cambridge, Kitchener, North Dumfries, Waterloo, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich. Artistic projects must occur within 12 months and can request a maximum amount of $10,000 in funding.

An interdisciplinary peer jury system will review applications. Representation of the jury will include individuals across various art forms and diverse backgrounds with consideration of Black, Racialized, newcomer, immigrant artists; Deaf and disability arts; combination of emerging, mid-career, and established artists; a range across age, gender, and regional representation (cities and townships). There will also be peer assessors brought in to speak to certain cultural and/or artistic contexts of specific applications.
