We are pleased to announce that the Rev. Fred Monteith has accepted the position of Supply Minister.  His official start date is Tuesday September 6th, 2022 and his term is for four (4) months with the possibility of an extension. He'll be serving until a permanent minister is called.

You can get your offering to the church office in several ways:

  You can use PAR, or

  E transfer to firstunitedchurch@rogers.com, or

  Website donation to www.firstunitedchurch.ca, or

  Send a cheque to First United Church, 16 William St. West, Waterloo ON N2L1J3, or

  Drop a cheque into the mailbox located at the Entrance on William St. side.

**Just a reminder- credit card companies have a fee of around 3-5%. If you wish the church to get the full amount, then please add that % to your contribution. **

Free Noon Hour Concerts will resume on Tuesday September 20th from 12:15 - 12:45. Lunches will also be available from 11:30.

We will be hosting Artisans at First at First United again this year on Saturday, October 15^th, 2022 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

This is a market of handcrafted items, no commercially-prepared items.

Vendor spaces come in a range of sizes/prices.  We welcome a wide range of items.

United Church Women will be hosting a bake sale table at the Artisan event  in October. When you are busy making jam or pickles this summer, please consider donating a jar or two to our table...

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph Bye (father of Nancy Lennox), at his home on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the age of 92, surrounded by his family.

The Funeral Service was held on Tuesday August 2nd.  Donations can be made to Heart & stroke or the Alzeimer Society.
