February 22 is Human Trafficking Awareness Day in Canada.  MT Space is again presenting the online performance of Chelsea’s Story a play about the dangers of sex trafficking.  Chelsea’s Story follows three students who uncover the diary of 15-year-old girl named Chelsea, who is being targeted and groomed by a man posing as her boyfriend. Based on real life events, Chelsea's Story was written for people as young as 12 to understand what human trafficking is, and how vulnerable people, especially girls and young women, are targeted.

Each performance is paired with a talk back afterwards, facilitated by the Sexual Assault Support Centre Waterloo Region and the Coalition of Muslim Women – KW.

All performances are free and will be hosted on Zoom.

The performances are on Thursday, February 22 from 6-8 pm, Friday, February 23 from 6-8 pm and Saturday, February 24 from 2-4 pm.
